The Rural Housing mobile application is an Android-based platform designed to facilitate the monitoring of house construction progress for CMAY(G) beneficiaries. It enables beneficiaries or their authorized representatives to report the physical stages of construction, thereby streamlining the process for disbursing subsequent installments of financial assistance. Access to the application for beneficiaries is secured through a One Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number, as recorded during the house sanctioning process. Inspectors utilize the same login credentials as those on the CMAY(G) portal, ensuring seamless access.

The application primarily aims to capture high-quality photographs at various construction stages, accompanied by timestamps and geo-coordinates, to ensure transparency and accuracy in progress reporting. These visual and locational data are critical for validating the progress before releasing additional funds. Uploaded images and reports are subject to verification by the Block office via the CMAY(G) portal, completing the inspection cycle and facilitating timely financial support to beneficiaries.
